I have fond memories of international travels, especially once when I was about to board a plane in Dubai - coming back home to Melbourne. I was lost at Dubai Creed stand and was mesmerised by the astonishing perfumes notes. I couldn't step away. The host advised me to go as my gates were about to close, and I thought he was kidding. I kept on sampling different perfumes. Turned out, I did miss out. I ran with a smell of the perfume on me hoping to somehow make it. I went back to the lounge and sweet talked the customer service specialists to get me on the next business flight back home. They however commented on my perfume, they really liked it and when I told them the story behind me missing the flight - they laughed, they walked away and came back after about 20 minutes with a supervisor. He too had a laugh and said he too wore a Creed perfume. We joked. We laughed. We exchanged thoughts and feelings about Creed perfumes and notes and which ones to get.... and then I got a free return business flight. All thanks to Creed - the ultimate travel story that connected so many random people together and was the ultimate bridge in problem solving. A perfume.
