Creed Green Irish Tweed – A Timeless Classic

There are fragrances that simply make you stop and appreciate the artistry behind them, and Green Irish Tweed is undoubtedly one of those. From the very first spray, it envelops you in an unmistakably fresh character that feels simultaneously clean, luxurious, and effortlessly refined — like stepping into something brand new yet perfectly familiar.

What makes Green Irish Tweed so special is its rare ability to balance two worlds. On one hand, it carries that crisp, polished elegance you'd expect from a house like Creed. On the other, there's a grounding, natural quality to it — something verdant and alive — that keeps it from ever feeling sterile or cold. That combination is genuinely unique, and it's what sets GIT apart from the countless fresh fragrances that have tried to follow in its footsteps.

As someone who already counts Aventus, Millésime Impérial, and Silver Mountain Water among their collection, adding Green Irish Tweed felt like a natural and deeply satisfying step. Each of those fragrances speaks to a different facet of Creed's mastery, and GIT holds its own beautifully among them. If anything, it may be the most wearable of the lot — a fragrance that works across seasons, occasions, and moods without ever overstaying its welcome.

I'm particularly grateful that my first bottle came as a prize from the Creed Review Contest — a wonderful surprise that made the experience even more memorable. A huge thank you to Creed Australia for the generous gift. It only…

Grown-up and sexy inside and out

I treated myself to a 50ml bottle of Creed Green Irish Tweed after trying it and Aventis (arguably the most popular in their range) at my local department store. The bottle itself is sleek and understated, and fits comfortably in the hand, (you do not want to drop this on the bathroom floor!) I preferred Green Irish Tweed to Aventis as I'm a sucker for citrus and bergamont, and this one has it nailed! Not too overpowering at first, just fresh and sexy. The fragrance holds nicely on my skin, and mellows into more woody spice notes, but still with that freshness. I really like it, a real treat.

A Millésime Creation

A Refined Design

Green Irish Tweed is housed in The House of Creed’s signature bottle that traces the shape of a classic gentleman’s hip flask. The deep, almost blackened green bottle mirrors the fresh and natural composition within. It also evokes a sense of refinement, reinforcing the fragrance’s enduring appeal.

An Ode To The Great Outdoors

Green Irish Tweed was inspired by the lush greenery of the Emerald Isle while also honouring the house’s historical ties to Linton Tweed Mills in the Cumbrian countryside. With notes that conjure the earthy tones of hand-woven yarns, it encapsulates the connection between nature and craftsmanship.
